The classic female cardigan is made with a pattern with harnesses forming a convex mesh. 

The description of the cardigan from the designer Michele Wang is translated from the magazine “Knit. Wear ”spring-summer 2018. 

Sizes: 

Chest circumference - 85 (110.5, 136) cm. 

Required materials: 

Universal Yarn Deluxe Worsted Naturals yarn (100% wool; 201 m / 100 grams in hank) - 6 (7, 8) hanks , 5 buttons with a diameter of 2.5 cm. 

Required tools: 

Knitting needles No. 4 and No. 5, circular needles No. 4 with a length of 150 cm, loop markers, additional needle, tapestry needle. 

Knitting density: 

26 loops and 26 rows = 10 cm of picture B, made with the needles No. 5; 

18 loops and 26 rows = 10 cm of the front surface, made with the needles No. 5. 

Remarks:

The cardigan is made in straight and reverse rows, and then stitched. 

To maintain a smooth edge on the top of the bundle of 4-hoptel, lower the loops as follows: 1 knit the front loop, 2 knit the front loops together, 1 face the loop. 

For a set of loops use a set of loops with a long end. 

To form a bevel of the shoulder, use an inclined loop closure. 

Inclined hinge closure:

SCHEMES D and E 

Formation of a V-shaped neckline: 

Note: the formation of the armhole begins before the end of the formation of the neckline; therefore, you should read the description of these sections until the end of their execution.

A number of declines (front): knit up to the last 3 loops, knit 2 loops together on the front / back (depending on the main pattern) with a tilt to the left, 1 face loop - 1 loop is reduced. 

Repeat these reductions in each 2nd row another 12 (15, 10) times, then in each 4th row another 6 (5, 10) times — for the neckline cut, 19 (21, 21) loops are removed. 

At the same time, when the knitting height reaches 46.5 cm from the dialing row, finish with the wrong side and start forming the armhole: at the beginning of the front row close 1 time 4 (7, 11) loops, close once 2 (4, 8) loops, 1 just close 1 (3, 5) loop and 0 (3, 9) close 1 loop once - after all formations, 25 (29, 29) loops are left on the spokes. 

Then knit straight until the height of the armhole reaches 18.5 (21, 23.5) cm, finish with the wrong side.

Bevel of the shoulder: 

At the beginning of the front rows close 1 time 9 loops and 2 times 8 (10, 10) loops - no loops left. 

Right shelf: 

Spoke number 4 dial 51 (67, 83) loop. 

To connect 2 times rows 1-6 according to the scheme of figure E, then repeat once 1-2 rows.

Repeat the last two rows 2 more times. 

A series of additions (front): 2 front loops, 1 loop from the broach with a tilt to the left, front loops to the last 2 loops, 1 loop from the broach with an inclination to the right, 2 face loops - 2 loops added.

Repeat these additions in each 8 (6, 6) -th row another 10 (13, 16) times - on the needles 64 (70, 76) loops. 

Knit further straight until the height of the knitting reaches 45.5 (47, 47) cm from the dial, finish with the wrong side.

Okat sleeves: 

Close by 4 (7, 11) loops at the beginning of the next 2 rows, close by 2 (3, 6) loops at the beginning of the next 4 (2, 2) rows - 48 (50, 42 ) loops. 

A number of reductions (front): 2 front loops, 2 loops knit together the front with a slope to the right, facial loops to the last 4 loops, 2 loops knit together the facial with a slope to the left, 2 face loops - 2 loops are reduced. 

Repeat these reductions in each 2 (2, 4) -th row another 12 (17, 10) times - there are 22 (14, 20) loops left on the needles.

Tie 1 purl row. 

Close by 4 (0, 3) loops at the beginning of the next 2 (0, 2) rows - 14 loops left on the spokes. 

Close all loops. 

Completion: 

Scrub the parts. Run shoulder seams. Sew the sleeves in the armhole. Run the seams of the sleeves and side seams. 

Strapping shelves and neckline:
