How to make an edge with a beautiful chain, as if a double edge
We collect the necessary for the loop pattern and plus 4 for the edge (usually 2). - In the front row we remove the first loop, we knit the second loop on the front one, then the pattern loop. When we reach the end of the series, we remove the penultimate loop as the front one (the thread at work), and the last one is knitted with the wrong side. - We turn over the work and we knit the back rows in the following way: we remove the first loop, and we knit the second one (due to the fact that we removed this loop in the front row, it turns out to be elongated and lays down nicely along the edge). We reach the end of the row, remove the penultimate loop as a purl (the thread before work), and knit the last one in the purl. So we repeat all the time, at the edges there are, as it were, double chains, they hold the edges well, do not allow them to bend.
