Click For Crochet Abbreviations List

The elegance of this Stonehenge women's sweater is in its simplicity and exquisite rigor. A minimum of dyeing, only openwork design of raglan lines and color change. Specialists from Drops Design Studio created a really stylish product and included it in their collection under the motto Stonehenge.

You can tie a jumper for S - M - L - XL - XXL - XXXL.

As a material for knitting, Drops Cotton Merino (50 g / 110 m), a yarn consisting of cotton, presented in the form of long fibers, and exclusive merino wool, are proposed in both parts in equal shares. This yarn is of high quality, creates a smooth texture, soft and well worn. Knit it is also very convenient.

For a jumper, you need two colors of Cotton Merino yarn:

- color 18 - medium gray ("medium gray"), 7-8-9-10-10-11 hanks;

- color 20 - light gray ("light gray"), 2-3-3-3-3-4 hank.

The instruments are double-edged and circular knitting needles 4½ mm and 3½ mm thick. The main speakers are 4½ mm, and we will tie the sample on them to master the required density:

- we will connect 26 straight rows (prr) with a front satin finish (ls / hl) of 20 loops (pt) = 10 x 10 cm.

Let's start from the neck, we will knit raglan, moving down.

Raglan line finishing techniques

1. Openwork

Raglan is decorated with an openwork pattern formed by nakida. For the formation of decorative holes, it is necessary to knit all these nakida with purl loops (izpt).

2. Addition on 1 pt near the M-marker

After M knit like this: 1 izpt; 1 cap.

Before M knit so: 1 nakid; 1 ipt. That is, right next to M there is a nakid, and next comes Izpt.

3. Addition on 2 pt near the M-marker

After M knit like this: 1 izpt; 1 nakid; 2 ispty knit from sld.petli.

Before M, we knit this way: 2 of them are knitted from one point; 1 nakid; 1 ipt. Symmetry holds here.

Making additions in every 4th row does not eliminate the formation of decorative holes. They are made after 1 row in the raglan line.

After M knit like this: 1 izpt; 1 nakid; 1 pt will be removed as izpt, not knitting; tie 1 izpt and drag it through pt taken.

Before M, we knit it like this: we knit 2 pt together like izpt; do 1 nakid; 1 ipt.

Additions to the sweater body

Current row: 1 nakid; 1 lzpt - facial Fri; M1; 1 lt; M2.

Sld.ryad: knit nakidy crossed loops, because here the holes are not needed.

Sleeves for sleeves

Current row:

- we knit 2 pt together as lt; 1 lt; M;

- 1 lt; 1 pt will be removed as ltspt, not knitting; We will bind 1 LTSPT and drag it through Fri removed.

Knit sweater "Stonehenge"

We proceed directly to the yoke, choosing your size and focusing on the pattern. First we will knit in circles.

Yoke

Take the needles 3½ mm, the thread is medium-gray (color 18) and type 104-108-112-118-122-128 pt.

The first 6 crgr (circular rows) will be executed directly with a garter pattern (pl / uz).

Then change the spokes to thicker ones, 4½ mm. Replace the yarn and thread on a light gray (thread 20).

Sd.krrr:

- all of izpt;

- along the way we add 20-20-24-22-22-24 pt, acting uniformly = 124-128-136-140-144-152 pt.

Place the markers, total 4.

Sd.krrr:

- install М1, it will mark the beginning of the crr;

- 50-52-56-54-56-60 of izpt is a back; install M2;

- 12-12-12-16-16-16 izpt is a sleeve; install M3;

- we finish symmetrically by installing the M4 between the front and the second sleeve.

Now, before continuing, read carefully how to knit further. When everything is clear, we will work.

Next begins the design of raglan lines, as described above, we begin to add from the next KRGP.

For the main part, we will make additions of 1 pt:

- first 8-12-12-23-28-32 times through 1 krgr;

- then 7-6-7-2-1-0 times, in every 4th KRGR.

For sections of the sleeves we will make additions:

- first 2 pt, only 2-4-5-4-2-1 times after 1 krgr;

- then 1 Fri 16-16-17-19-24-27 times, after 1 KRG;

- then 1 point 2 times in every 4th KRG.

At the same time, going to the height of the canvas at 19-21-21-22-23-23 cm, we change the thread of yarn to medium-gray (color 18) and we will continue to continue with the pattern LC / CH. Only in raglan lines 2 pt we will execute izpt.

After all the additions have been made, we will get 272-304-328-356-380-404 pt on the spokes. During this time, move away from the dial edge on the 22-24-25-27-29-31 cm.

Sd.krrr:

- knit as before;

- we will postpone the sleeves, instead of them we will collect 8-8-10-10-12-14 pt new for undercuts;

- in the middle of the site, put new points on the marker, they will mark the position of the side lines.

Main detail

It accounts for 176-192-208-228-252-276 points. Continue to knit circles lt / hl, moving away from cuts by 2 cm.

Next come the additions, how to do them, as described above.

Sd.krrr: we add 1 pt on both sides of the markers denoting the side lines, that is, only 4 pt.

We perform such a crr with additions 7 times in total, leaving an interval of 2½-2½-3-3-3-3½ cm.

Just get on the needles 204-220-236-256-280-304 points.

When the distance from the undercuts reaches 20-20-21-21-21-21 cm, we knit the loops related to the back in the current krgr and set them aside.

Before

We now turn to knitting in straight rows.

Sun.prr:

- 5 pt knit pl / bond; perform LC / hl up to 5 pts in the residue; 5 pt knit pl / bonds.

So we work to a height of 31-31-32-32-32-32 cm.

In this place we change the needles, going to 3½ mm, and the color of the thread. Perform a border pl / bond in 6 rows and close all the Fri.

We will tie the back as before.

Sleeve, 2 Details

We will engage stocking knitting needles of the same diameter and transfer PT to them, set aside for one sleeve. In addition, we will raise 8-8-10-10-12-14 pt, walking along the edge of the undercut, and set the middle marker M, denoting the internal axis of the sleeve.

Knit sleeve lz / hl.

Moving 2 cm away from the undercut, let's start reducing the points. This procedure is described at the beginning of the instruction.

Sd.krrr, with decreases:

- knit lts / hl, not reaching 1 point to M; lower 1 pt; M; lower 1 pt; We add prr to the end.

The same series with reductions will be repeated just 13-16-19-20-21-22 times, with an interval of 2½-2-1½-1½-1½-1 cm.

As a result, we obtain 38-40-42-44-46-48 points.

Having tied up to 39-38-37-36-35-33 cm, we change the needles, going to 3½ mm, and the color of the thread.

Perform a border PL / OZ in 6 rows, and close all Fri.
