These are all rows knitted, replacing colors: two rows of one color and two rows of the second, and so on in turn.
With 25 rows, I already knit part of the skirt from the Basques. Baska then tie. HERE THE AUTHOR BEGIN TO KNIT IN ONE COLOR !!!!! IN THE SEA SET, THIS IS RED
Series 25 - the first six rams are knitted as usual, and the next stitches are knitted to the last six by the back wall of the loop. So that a line is formed from the front walls and then we attach a basque to the front walls. The first and last loop is our strap. Therefore, they knit under the entire loop. No need to knit the back wall.

Girl, I do not plan to expand the canvas further, so I’ll knit with one color without increments until the 50th row and then for the same amount loops will knit strips. But you see for yourself. Maybe your yarn is thinner, or knit more tightly, maybe you want a skirt wider, then, while maintaining the principle, make the additives in one more row, the 39th, or, if necessary, in another 41st.
I tried in the 43rd row to combine the canvas in a circle. I did not like. The transition from row to row on the back is visible. Therefore, the dress will do the swing as the sea. And you decide yourself again. You might like to knit in a circle. And you can seamlessly move from row to row and from strip to strip. Then feel free to combine approximately in the 43rd row. Try on, so that it is convenient to wear a doll.
Rows 39-50 - 1 sc in each loop to the end of the row without increments, 1 vp, turn
Girls, if you want a more tight fit as in the sea version (this time I did a little freer hem), then the last increase in the 35th row. And then knit without increments. But it provided that the density coincides with mine. I'll add a photo now and see how the dress looks. Behind while with needles fastened as it will instead of buttons. I have lilac to 50 rows and then 2 rows alternate again. I made 2 strips of white and emerald one and it seemed to me not enough in length. Therefore, I only made 6 color bands. Accordingly, if you want only 4 colored stripes, then you need to start changing colors from the 55-row.
I knitted a basku in the following way: I attached a thread to the front wall of the row, which we formed to start knitting the Basques, and the first row knit 2CCHs from each loop. Then the thread was torn off and again attached the thread of the second color to the same edge (that is, I knitted all 4 rows on the front side). The second row alternated SSN, two SSN from the loop and so on until the end. Again, cut the thread and the first color attached to the edge and knit a number of simply CCH without increments. And the last row in another color, too, knitted CCH without increments. Total Basque I have 4 rows. CST was knitting tight, not pulling them high. In the sea first dress, I knitted a half-column with a double crochet on the same principle of magnification. You see yourself as you like. I just tried to make sure so that the height of one color row in the tank is not very different from the height of two rows of the sc when knitting the top of the dress. That is, that everything looked whole
After all this, we sew on buttons and the dress is ready!
