The work will require the preparation of the following tools and materials: 

acrylic yarn “Children's novelty” from the Pekhorka factory of several colors, with a density of 200 g per 50 m; 
hook number 2.5 or number 3; 
scissors; 
needle and sewing thread (white, black). 

Colors of yarn can be any, choose at your discretion. The main thing is to remember: you will need the main color for the body and head, contrasting for the wings, white and black for the eyes, yellow or orange for the beak and paws. 

Stage One: Head

In the description of the process of creating an appliqué by crocheting "Owl", we will use the following abbreviations: 

semi-column with crochets - PSSN; 
single crochet - sc; 
double crochet - C1H; 
a column with two naquids - С2Н; 
air loop - VP; 
connecting loop - SP. 

We begin work with the manufacture of the head. Thread the main color make ring amigurumi and two air loops. In the first row we knit according to the scheme: 2 PSSN, 3 C2H, 6 PSSN, 3 C2H, 3 PSSN, we close it with the help of the SP in the second loop of the initial circuit.

We start the second row with 2 VP, we knit 1 PSSN in the first loop of the base. We continue to work. We carry out 2 PSSN in the second loop, from the third to the fifth - to 2 C2H. In the sixth - 2 PSSN, from the seventh to the tenth - one PSSN, the eleventh - 2 PSSN, from the thirteenth to the fifteenth - 2 C2H, the sixteenth - 2 PSSN and, finally, 1 PSSN. The third row starting with three lifting loops. In the first four loops we execute one C1H, in the next five - two each. In the next eight - one by one, in the next five - two each. It remains for us to do 1 C1H in the last loop. We complete the joint venture in the third loop of the previous series. 

We continue to work with the oval billet

We start the fourth row in the same way as the third one, with three VPs, knit 1 С1Н into the same loop, in the next two - one С1Н, then - 2 С1Н. Repeat rapport six times: 1 C1H (in the first loop) - 2 C1H (in the second). Next, knit in two loops, one S1H, two S1H - in the next, repeat. Again, 6 times use rapport: 1 C1H - 2 C1H. In the next two loops, we perform one C1H, then two C1H. Then knit 1 C1N to the end of the row. Close the joint venture (similar to row number 3). 

Fifth row: 3 VP and 1 C1H (in the same loop). In the next two - 1 С1Н, then - 2 С1Н in one loop. This simple pattern is repeated until the end. We

Stage two: owl 

ears: We knit the ears according to the following scheme. We attach the primary color yarn to the side of the head (14 loops are counted from the center of the blank to the right). First row: 2 VP, 1 S1H in the next 4 loops, 2 semi-columns connected together, the first in the same loop as the last of the four S1H, the second in the next. Knitting overturn. 

We start the second row with 2 VP. First, we knit 2 PSSNs, connecting them together, then 1PSSN. In the last two loops we make 2 PSSNs with one vertex. Turn the workpiece.

The third row: 2 VP and a group of semi-columns with double crochet with a common apex, in all loops of the base. Congratulations, the first eyelet is ready. The second is performed from the other side, by analogy. 

When both lugs are ready, carefully make out the edge. To do this, we attach the thread of the primary color to the head and make strapping with single crochets. 
Stage three: the body and eyes We 

continue to work on our application "Owl" crochet . The description of the method of knitting eyes, beak, wings and legs will be presented below. The body of the owl is done according to the scheme that was used to make the head, using the main color thread. We get an oval billet. 

Getting started knitting owl eyes. Take the white thread, make the ring amigurumi, 3 VP and 12 C1H in the ring. We close the joint venture in the third loop of the initial chain.

The second row of knit from 2 VP, 1 PSSN (in the same loop), 2 PSSN (in each next loop of the circle), SP (in the second loop of the chain). The first preparation for the eye is ready. By analogy, perform the second. 
Getting to the knitting pupils. We take the thread in black. We make an air ring, 1 VP and 8 columns without single crochet in a circle. We close the joint venture, fix the thread. The second pupil is performed according to the same scheme. 
Stage Four: Beak We 

proceed to the manufacture of the beak. For this we will use yellow or orange yarn. We perform amigurumi ring, 3 VP, 2 double crochet. In the circle do not connect, turn the workpiece.

Stage five: wings 

To perform the wings, we take a thread of contrasting color to the body. We make the ring amigurumi, 3 VP and 2 S1H, do not connect in a circle, turn. 

We knit the second row from 3 VP, 1 C1H (into the same loop), into the next one - 1 C1H and 1 C1H - into a chain of VP. We turn. 

In the third row we make 3 VP, 2 С1Н in the same loop, in the next two - one С1Н, and finally 1 С1Н in a chain of VP. We turn. 

Fourth row: 3 VP, in the same loop and in the next - two double crochets connected in one vertex. In the remaining three - one C1H, and 1 C1H - to the top of the chain. We turn.

Fifth row: 3 VP, in the same loop 1 С1Н, in the others, except for the last one, on one С1Н. The row is almost ready. In the last loop and at the top of the chain we knit crochets, connecting them together. Turn the workpiece again. 
The sixth row: 3 VP, 1 S1H (in the same loop), in all the others - one S1H and in the loop of the chain too. We turn. 

Seventh row: 3 VP and 1 C1N (there too), one crochet column - in all loops, except for the last two. Now we make double crochets with one vertex in the last loops. Turn the wing.

Eighth row: perform 3 VP and a group of crochets with a common vertex in all loops of the base. We do not cut the thread yet. Getting to the strapping of the wing on the edge. We make 1 VP, using columns without nakida, we make out preparation on all perimeter. Now you can fasten and cut the thread. The first wing is ready. 

According to the same scheme, perform the second. An important point: after you tie the wing, you will need to turn it and make a harness on the other side. Stage Six: legs for sovushki

In order to tie the last element of the appliqué, we take a yellow or orange thread. Attach it, departing to the left of the center of the three loops. We perform three VP, 1 C1H (in the same loop), 3 VP and 1 semi-column with no crochet (into the same loop) and one more (into the next). Repeat this pattern twice. The first foot is ready.
