The name is from an English island named Jersey. 
Women in this area have made this weave-type sweaters a tradition to knit for fishermen wives.
Jarse knitting is called flat knitting.

Jarse Knitting : The determined number of stitches is laid by folding the loop with the face stitch in the first row and the reverse stitch in the second row.

Figure 1 : Immerse the right skewer from the front to the back in the left skewer.


Figure 2 : Spin the yarn in front of the right bottle.




Figure 3 : Spread the right bottle on the left hand side of the loom, knitting the stitch.




Figure 4 : Repeat from the beginning.
