Knitted Socks Free Pattern

Knitted socks with a pattern of "zigzag" are made in the style, which is associated with Florence of medieval times. 

Dimensions:

Foot circumference – 17.5 (20.5, 23) cm,

Foot Length – 23 (25.5, 28) cm.

Required Materials:

Yarn Sweet Georgia Yarns Tough Love Sock (80% merino wool, 20% Nylon; 388 m/115 grams in a Hank) – 1 skein of black and yellow colors.

Necessary tools:

Sets of double-edged (stocking) Spokes № 2.5 and № 2.75, markers of loops, tapestry needle.

Density of Knitting:

32 loops and 36 series = 10 cm figure knitting, made by spokes № 2.75.

Remark:

Socks are performed from top to bottom in circular rows.

Beginning of Knitting:

Thread MC and Spokes № 2.5 dial 56 (64, 72) loops. Place the marker at the beginning of the series and connect the loops in a circular series.

Connect 16 circular rows with a 2x2 rubber band (2 front loops, 2 purls loops).

Link 1 circular series with facial loops.

Change the spokes to № 2.75.

Link the series 1-49 to the drawing diagram. Cut off the SS thread.


Heel

Heel wall:

The heel is knit straight and reverse rows on 28 (32, 36) loops. The remaining 28 (32, 36) loops of the upper part of the foot will be projazana later.

Change the spokes to № 2.5.

Installation Series (front): Remove the marker of the beginning of the series, 14 (16, 18) of the facial loops, rotate the knitting.

1st row (seamy): 1 loop to remove as wrong, thread before loop, 27 (31, 35) purl loops, rotate knitting.

2nd row: (front): 1 loop to remove as wrong, thread by loop, 27 (31, 35) facial loops, rotate knitting.

Repeat these two rows another 11 (12, 13) times.

Turning part of Heel:

1st row (seamy): 1 loop to remove as wrong, thread before loop, 16 (18, 20) Purl loops, 2 loops to touch together reverse, 1 purl loop, rotate knitting.

2nd row (front): 1 loop to remove as wrong, thread by loop, 7 facial loops, 2 loops to touch together front with tilt left, 1 facial loop, rotate knitting.

3rd row: 1 loop to remove as wrong, thread before loop, Purls loops to 1 loop before clearance, 2 loops to hang together reverse, 1 purl loop, rotate knitting.

4th row: 1 loop to remove as wrong, thread by loop, facial loops to 1 loop before clearance, 2 loops to touch together front with tilt left, 1 facial loop, rotate knitting.

Repeat the last two rows of another 3 (4, 5) times-on the spokes left 18 (20, 22) heel loops.

After the last row do not rotate knitting.

Lifting Wedge:

1st installation Series: On the front side and the thread of the MC dial and touch the obverse 12 (13, 14) loops along the right side of the heel wall, cut off the thread MC.

2nd installation Series: On the front side and the thread of the MC, starting from the left side of the heel wall, dial and handle the obverse 12 (13, 14) loops along the left side of the heel wall, 9 (10, 11) front loops, place a marker of the new beginning of the circular series-on the spokes of only 70 ( 78, 86) Loops: 28 (32, 36) loops of the top of the foot, 42 (46, 50) hinges of the soles.

Change the spokes to № 2.75.

Attach the SS thread.

Note: When performing wedge lifting and foot, knit up to 55 figure inclusive, then repeat rows 5-55 to the desired length.

Installation Circular series: [1 Front loop SS thread, 1 facial loop with MS] – 6 times, 1 front loop with SS thread, 2 loops touch together facial with tilt to right thread MC, place marker starting and ending with 1 loop, tie 50 row figure to next 41 (49, 57 ) loop, place the marker, 2 loops to touch together the front with a tilt left thread MC, [1 Facial loop SS thread, 1 facial Loop MS]-6 times-on the spokes 68 (76, 84) loops.

1st circular Row: Knit in established order before marker, marker, knit pattern up marker, marker, knit to end of row.

2nd Circular Series: Knit up to 2 loops in front of the marker, 2 loops to touch together the front with a tilt to the right thread MC, marker, knit pattern to the marker, marker, 2 loops to touch together the front with a tilt to the left thread of the MC, knit to the end of the series-two loops are down.

Repeat the last two rows 5 more times-on the spokes 56 (64, 72): 28 (32, 36) loops for the upper part of the foot and for the soles.

Stop:

Knit further straight until the length of the foot reaches 16.5 (18.5, 19) cm or magnitude, 6.5 (7, 9) cm smaller than the final length of the foot, finish 11th, 18th, 23rd, 29th, 37, 44, 49 or 55 next figure. Link Series 56-58 of the drawing.

Next Circular series: Knit to the last 7 loops of the series, remove all markers. Cut off the SS thread. Connect the MC thread 21 (23, 25) to the face loop, place the marker of the new beginning of the circular series.

Change the spokes to № 2.5.




Toe

The following circular series: 28 (32, 36) face loops, place marker, 28 (32, 36) facial loops.

Circular range of the tabs: * 1 front hinge, 2 loops touch together face with tilt left, facial loops up to 3 loops before marker, 2 loops touch together front with tilt right, 1 front loop, marker; Repeat from * 1 more Time – 4 loops are lower.

Repeat these decrease in each 2nd row 4 (6, 8) times, then 5 times in each row-16 loops are left on the spokes: 8 loops for the upper part of the foot and for the sole.

Cut off the thread, leaving the end length of 30 cm.

End:

The tapestry needle and the left end of the thread close the remaining loops with a knitted seam.

Fill the end of the thread.

Steaming socks.
