This cute creation I knitted as a birthday present.
The colors of this amazing animal, and especially of our knitted character, inspire a sunny mood (at least for me)!
So, let's start knitting.
For the main knitting, cotton yarn of two colors - beige and yellow with a thick thread (hook No. 2) was used, and cotton yarn of white, yellow and black color with a thread is thinner (for knitting eyes, horns and embroidering the mouth line, hook No. 1.3).

We make a sliding loop, while leaving the long end of the thread, we need it to sew the neck to the head.
We select 15 VP, we connect with a connecting column in a circle, and then we knit in a circle - 22 rows (15 СБН).
We leave the thread to sew the neck to the body of giraffe.
Fill the part with filler tightly!
Leg (4 parts) - beige and yellow yarn, hook No. 2
We start beige yarn.

For the best durability and strength of the toy, I decided to insert a bead with a diameter of 15 mm into the bottom of each leg.
So it is here that we insert the bead into knitting and begin to tie it further.

We knit 1 VP, turn and knit 7 RLS.

Similarly, we knit all 4 legs.
Eyes (2 parts) - white and black yarn with fine thread, hook No. 1.3
We start knitting black yarn.

We leave the thread for sewing.
We embroider in the center of the eye a white thread flare.
Ear (2 parts) - yellow yarn, hook No. 2

We fold the resulting circle in half and link it with the help of the RLS.

Horns (2 parts) - yarn of beige and yellow flowers, hook No. 1.3
For knitting horns, I used a yellow yarn with a finer thread, but a suitable color.

We leave the thread for sewing.
Beige thread with the needle embroider the tops of the horns.
Assemblage of details and registration
We sew the legs to the body, we help ourselves with the help of pins (it turns out a figure very similar to a sports projectile called "gymnastic goathorse! " )
We sew the neck first to the trunk, and then the head to the neck.
Sew the horns and ears to the head.
Sewing eyes.
We embroider the line of the mouth with a black thread.
A string of beige color embroider on the body and neck spots - this time I wanted to make them symbolic in the form of uneven crosses.
A chain of air hinges was also connected, a wooden pendant was strung on it, and it became a small ornament-accessory for our handsome man - you can hang it around your neck, you can in your ear.
Oh, yes, I almost forgot - the tail, too, is there! A small pigtail is a beige color. Cut off pieces of thread in a size of 12 cm, add each piece in half and pass between the loops. Well, and then, when all the threads are threaded, we braid the pigtail.
And now our giraffe in all its glory!
