Chicken can be made from any thread. I like c / b, they are pleasant to work with and the doll comes out simple, natural. I used a 2mm hook. It turns out that the chicken is about 7cm high.
The size of the finished product depends on the number of hooks and the thickness of the threads that you use. Threads can take any, the main requirement - to knit tightly so that the padding does not shine through. Everything is knitted in a column without a spool in a spiral. I recommend marking the beginning of each row (thread, pin).
Knitting uses three colors of thread - yellow, red and white. Eyes - beads (you can embroider French nodules with black thread). A beak is a piece of orange felt.
Head and body
Begin to knit from top to bottom. We make a magic ring with Amigurs yellow threads (Fig. 1).
