CLOSING THE LOOP WITH THE NEEDLE

Cut the working thread, leaving an end about 3-4 times longer than the row of loops that need to be closed. 

Thread this end of the thread into the eye of the tapestry needle. Step 1. Insert the needle into the first two loops as if you were knitting purl loops, and pass the thread through them (Fig. 1). Step 2. Insert the needle into the first loop on the left needle as if you were knitting a front loop, and pull the thread through it (fig. 2). Remove the loop from the knitting needle (Fig. 3). Repeat steps 1 and 2 until all loops are closed.
