RAGLAN SWEATER WITH KNITTING NEEDLES

Sizes: S (M, L, XL). 
Breast coverage: 84 (94, 104, 114) cm.  
Length: 58 (60, 62, 64) cm.

 

 

You will need: 125 (150, 175, 200) grams of blue (749.0033) and unbleached (749.0094) LANGYARNS ALPACA SUPERLIGHT yarn, consisting of alpaca superfine, polyamide and fine merino wool; Knitting needles number 5 and number 5.5. Short circular needles number 5.
 
Pattern I, needles No. 5: 1 front, 1 purl loop. 

Pattern II, knitting needles No. 5.5: purl = front side - back loops, wrong side - face loops. 

Raglan jumper with braids, photo 2. Pattern III, needles No. 5.5: braid (front and back), knit according to the scheme. The diagram shows the front rows. In purl rows of a loop, knit according to a pattern. Knit rows 1 - 122 1 time (see note 2). 

Pattern IV, needles No. 5,5: braid (sleeve): knit according to the scheme. The diagram shows the front rows. In purl rows of a loop, knit according to a pattern. Knit 10 times rows 1 - 10, then 1 time rows 101 - 142 (see note 2). 

Note 1: the jumper is knitted in two threads of 1 thread of blue and unbleached. 

Note 2: the increase in the size of M, L, XL is due to knitting at the beginning of the row, between the braids and at the end of the row of a larger number of purl loops (see diagrams). 

Note 3: the reductions for the side bevel and for the raglan should be carried out according to the scheme, while for the sizes M, L, XL after the 122nd row, knit another 4, 8, 12 rows along the pattern and at the same time in every 2nd row on both sides At the beginning and at the end of the row, add another 2, 4, 6 times 1 loop. 

Note 4: the additions for raglan should be carried out according to the scheme, while for the size M, L, XL after the 142nd row, knit another 4, 8, 12 rows in pattern and at the same time in each 2nd row subtract from both sides at the beginning and in at the end of the row 2, 4, 6 times 1 loop. 

Sweater Knitting Density: Pattern II: 14 loops with 22 rows = 10 cm by 10 cm; Pattern II + III: 19 loops = 10 cm in width (at the beginning of the knitting of the pattern), 22 rows = 10 cm in height; Pattern II + IV: 19 loops = 10 cm wide (at the beginning of knitting the pattern), 22 rows = 10 cm in height.
 
The back  

Dial with needles No. 5 in two threads of 1 thread of blue and unbleached 114 (124, 134, 144) loops. 

Knit with Pattern I.  

At a height of 3 cm from the typesetting edge, continue knitting with needles No. 5.5, distributing the patterns as follows:  

1 edge, 1 loop of Pattern II, 110 (120, 130, 140) loop of Pattern III (= 5 times knit rapport, See note 2), 1 loop of Pattern II, 1 edge. 

Reductions for the side bevel to perform according to the scheme. At a height of about 40 cm from the typesetting edge (= 80 rows from the elastic), close on both sides 1 time 1 loop = 82 (92, 102, 112) loops. 

Then for raglan knit according to the scheme (see note 3). At a height of about 58 (60, 62, 64) cm from the dial edge, close the remaining 32 (38, 44, 50) loops for the neckline.
 
Front part  

Knit as back. 

Neck cutout  

. At a height of about 53 (55, 57, 59) = 111 (119, 123, 127) rows from the gum, close the average 20 (18, 24, 30) loops and on both sides in each 2nd row 1 more time 3 loops, 1 time 2 loops and 3 times 1 loop. 

At a height of about 58 (60, 62, 66) cm from the dial edge = 122 (126, 130, 134) of the row from the elastic, close the remaining 2 loops on each side. 

Sleeves  

Spokes number 5 in two threads of 1 yarn blue and unbleached dial 44 (48, 52, 56) loops and knit Pattern I.  

At a height of 3 cm from the dial edge continue knitting needles No. 5.5, distributing the patterns as follows: 

1 edge, 1 (2, 3, 4) loop of Pattern II, 40 (42, 44, 46) loops of Pattern IV, knit rapport 2 times and finish with 8 loops after rapport, 1 (2, 3, 4) loop of Pattern II, 1 edging. 

For the side bevel, add on each side in each 14th row 7 times one loop. Added loops to include in Pattern II. 

At a height of about 50 cm from the edge of the set (= 102 rows from the elastic) close on both sides 1 time 1 loop = 56 (60, 64, 68) loops. 

Then knit raglan pattern (see note 4). 

At a height of about 68 (70, 72, 74) cm from the dial edge close the remaining 20 loops. 

Assembly  

Run seams, raglan seams with short stitches. 

Throat collar 

Circular knitting needles in two threads of 1 yarn of blue and unbleached each make about 100 (112, 128, 136) loops (front 42 (48, 54, 60) loops, sleeves 14 (14, 16, 14) loops, back 30 (36, 42, 48) loops) and knit 1 row all purl loops, then continue knitting with Pattern I in circular rows. 

At a height of 3 cm piping, close all hinges.
