THE DRESS FOR KIDS

description from VStar

Yarn: acrylic 100% microfiber 50g - 170m in the hank. It took 4 hanks of gray and less of a
hank of pink. (at the age of 1.5-2 years. Length from armholes 38 cm) Knitting needles
: circular number 3 and stocking 2.5 for a belt and buckle.
Density: 27.8 loop -> 10cm.
I knit it on a circular one, so I scored 240 loops and knitted the first 2 rows with a
purl.
Next, the distribution of loops (put markers):
spit: 3 + 8 + 3 = 14 (spit from 8 front and 3 life loops to outsiders)
distance between the spit: 16 n
distance between the front and back spit (side of sundress): 46 loops.
After the distribution of the markers on the circular needles should be:
46 + 14 (spit) + 16 + 14 (spit) + 16 + 14 (spit) + 46 + 14 (spit) + 16 + 14 (spit) + 16 +
14 (spit) = 240 loops.
The main canvas of a sundress is a garter knitting: if on circular needles, then we alternate a
series of facial ones, a series of purses. On the straight needles - all rows with facial loops.
Spit: 3 loops purl, 8 face loops, 3 purl loops (if on straight needles, then on
the seamy side we knit facial-facial, purl - purl.
Rotate the braid somewhere in 10-12 rows.
The narrowing did in each 14th row 1 loop between the braids, and so until between the
front loops of the braids I have 7 loops left (in height it goes to the end of the
skirt)
The subtraction did only between the braids on each half, the number of loops between the
braids of the halves does not change!
Next, on the front shelf you need to make loops for a belt.
I did this: Immediately after turning the spit, I transferred 8 face loops to the pigtails on a
separate knitting needle and knitted further separately, and on the main strip "instead of it" I scored 5
loops and knitted them with purses. And so until the next turn of the braid (10-12 rows), in the
last row before the turn, she connected the braids to the main canvas, knitting their
loops together. Those. how to "return" the pigtail as it was. And in the next row
we make a turn. It turns out the harness of one link pigtails, and under it purl
A smooth surface with a cut in the place of a set of loops, which I sewed from the inside out with the same thread as I used to
knit.
Then everything is as usual: armholes and neck. I did the clasp on the shoulder, because I personally did not
want to “break” the beautiful braid weaving. The main
thing is to “fit in nicely” when tying the neckline into the turns of the braids. As a result, under the neckline on both
shelves, the loops of all the braids should close.
Further, the bottom, armhole and neck crocheted.
The girdle knitted a rubber band.
